Juiced TV and UN Sustainable Development Goals
The UN Convention of the Rights of the Child states the importance of providing children with - a right to information in a form that they can understand, a right to express their views, and a right to participate in decision-making.
Research in Australia shows that enabling these core rights for children and young people in a hospital context, involves deep collaboration between the individual patient, hospital team and the community and that providing technology solutions presents a key opportunity to support these relationships. We partner with medical specialists, hospitals, parents and community organisations to offer this holistic support.
Our work is set against the key principles of ensuring that pediatric patients experience positive emotional and health outcomes during their hospital stay through age-appropriate resources and creative, fun and engaging opportunities to tell their story and hear the stories of other children in hospital.
