S8 – ADAM GOODES – QUESTIONS FROM THE KIDS!

‘Nangga’ – ‘Hello’, Adnyamathanha language.

Inspired by their story-time with Adam Goodes, students of the Queensland Children’s Hospital School were eager to learn more about First Nations culture.

As Adam tells the students, ‘Always ask questions…it’s a great way to learn’, and a lot was learnt during this Virtual Visit, with Adam sharing words from the Adnyamathanha language, talking about the ceremonies of his people and describing his favourite bush tucker.

Thank you Adam for sharing your culture and bringing joy to our hospital community!
