Stars meeting stars through Juiced TV’s Virtual Visits!

In the past few months our screens have been absolutely star-studded ever since we introduced a COVID-19 safe way to connect patients in hospital with our LIVE Virtual Visits. We have shared in some of the best experiences to date, and thanks to the wonderful world of technology, everybody in hospital or out of hospital could join in too! All of these special guests virtually visited patients at the Queensland Children’s Hospital through live stream on our Facebook Page and accessible for patients on the bedside Patient Entertainment Systems.

Lego Legend The Brickman, singer-songwriter Dean Lewis and mega-actress Margot Robbie kicked off the first few rounds in May. Following that the patients have had an unforgettable time with THOR himself, Chris Hemsworth and then Pussycat Dolls star Carmit and her 8-year-old daughter graced our screens with their beautiful smiles. Comedian Hamish Blake was given a taste of his own medicine, when the patients presented him with a few hilarious challenges to take on. The legendary Captain Jack Sparrow couldn’t wait to return to the Queensland Children’s Hospital, virtually this time and patients were lucky enough to spend more than an hour chatting to him! We finished off the month with Australia’s best known vet and TV personality Dr. Chris Brown (and his cat). Our latest virtual visitor Yellow Wiggle, Emma brightened up the morning of many who were watching and wiggling along to her catchy tunes.

It’s not over yet! We’re still lining up some incredible names to join us for a virtual visit, so be sure to stay connected and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages to find out who our next special guest will be!
