Our Hospital Heroes conquered the Bridge to Brisbane!

Yesterday, thousands of runners hit the pavement for Bridge to Brisbane, including a whole array of our hospital heroes!

One Juiced TV star Maxwell had the privilege of starting the gun for the 10km race, before taking on the 10km with his team of supporters ‘Max’s Army’, including members of the RAAF and Juiced TV supporter and regular runner Kieron Douglass dressed as Forrest Gump.

But Max and his Army didn’t just run the 10km in an amazing time – they also raised over $17,000 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Queensland Children’s Tumour Bank!!

Next off the starting line were the 5km competitors – which included many familiar faces including the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital’s Burns Unit Team and one of their patients and Juiced star Eli and his family and friends, the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services team running in their FULL firefighting kit, plus pocket rocket Josh Brass and his dad.

While everyone might have crossed the finish line sweaty and exhausted, they all sported huge smiles and had no shortage of energised hi-5’s going around afterwards.

The Juiced team want to say a big congratulations to all participants, fundraisers and supporters for making the 2017 Bride to Brisbane one to remember, and for making such an incredible contribution to improve the lives of the patients and families at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital!!

And keep your eyes peeled for next week’s Juiced TV episode to re-live all the fun!
