Our Juiced TV Super Hero Awards program, proudly supported by QSuper is proud to announce the second winner – Heart Surgeon, Dr Scott Fox! Dr Fox was nominated by 10 year old Ruby, a brave young girl who has been through five operations at the Queensland Children’s Hospital with Dr Fox since she was born.
Ruby loves everything from bikes to dogs but her health comes in first place. Ruby’s health journey started before she was even born, so having an experienced, down to earth and kind-hearted surgeon was an absolute must for the family.
Ruby’s mum Yvette said “Over the years we’ve become quite close to Dr Fox and Ruby thinks of him as part of the family. We have so much respect for him”. Ruby sees Dr Scott Fox as an ‘older brother’ due to his down to earth nature and dedication.
For Dr Fox, the “kids are what makes the job. The science and the medicine is very interesting, but it’s the talking to the kids in the clinics that really makes my day,” he said.
