A Royal Visit!

This week, the Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Juiced TV at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.

Their Royal Highnesses stopped by while in Australia performing their duties for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Our Juiced superstars Abbi, Max and Libby were tasked to lead the very special tour of the hospital and welcome them to the Juiced set!

13 year old patient, Abbi, who first featured on Juiced TV in 2015, and our founder Pip Russell, were officially introduced to Their Royal Highnesses to begin the tour throughout level 6 of the hospital.

After stopping to watch some Arts in Health activities, The Prince and Duchess were greeted to the Juiced TV set by our head chefs Max and Libby, who were making some traditional Australian Lamingtons.

Without any hesitation, Their Royal Highnesses popped on an apron and took to dipping the sponge and rolling them in the shredded coconut. How good did they taste? Well, Max and Libby vouch for them being ‘royal’ – and tasting far better than their own Lamingtons!

Make sure you tune in for our special episode ‘A Royal Engagement’ from Monday 16 April.
