Wherever you go, go with all your heart

Sophie Lenthall is undefeatable.

Over the past four years Sophie has undergone three heart operations, two at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital to treat the condition Supraventricular Tachycardia, better known as SVT. The first and second operations were unsuccessful but the third operation in July 2017 has so far proved to be successful. Throughout her treatment the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital has supported Sophie and many of her close friends, and in a beautiful gesture of gratitude, Sophie began fundraising for the Children’s Hospital Foundation in 2015.

“She cares about everybody else before herself”
– Christine Lenthall, Sophie’s mother

This year Sophie has embarked on her most ambitious fund raising project to date, with a mission to raise $10,000 for sick children in hospital.
What began as a young girl’s desire to give back is now been realised through a state wide fund raiser for students and teachers called ‘Go Casual for Sick Kids’.

“Go Casual for Sick Kids’ is about raising awareness, standing out and doing something different”
